Facility Character Relations

So, Helion's relationship chart is of course color-coded! For simplicity, it's color-coded with two main categories: 3 "Basic Colors", which are more common, and 2 significantly rarer "Special Colors". Since Helion has trouble feeling emotions, the "Basic" ones are composed of how she thinks of them/how she thinks she should react around them. The "Special" ones are ones that can only happen in the event that Helion feels strongly enough about a person to actually feel something, for better or worse. Now, on to how it all works:
"Basic" Colors:
Black: The Ruling Color. This color indicates that Helion respects someone. A high amount of Black means that she considers the person a teacher or leader.
Green: The Nurturing Color: This color indicates that Helion wants to take care of someone, basically. A lot of Green typically means that she considers the character someone to dote on, basically.
Blue: The Opposing Color: This color indicates that Helion finds someone troublesome. A lot of these indicate that Helion finds it awkward to talk to the character, or thinks that they're going to have to fight at some point.
"Special" Colors:
Red: The Responsive Color: This color indicates that Helion feels strong enough emotions that she is actually emotionally affected by someone. To simplify things, this symbol is used whenever Helion feels strongly enough to actually be in that condition. I could probably use multiple to emphasize significance, but if someone's there, they already have managed to give significant enough emotions that Helion has no idea what to do with them. Just consider this a marker for relationships that Helion actually feels.
Gold: The Color of Unison: This is a color I don't expect to get any use out of for a very very long time. I'm reserving this one for specifically romantic feelings. Romance? What's that? Helion doesn't know, so I don't expect to get use out of this any time soon!
Relationships:
From Phantasmagoria:

Despair:
****************
Despair is Helion's Sword. There is no more complicated a relationship in the world as far as Helion is concerned. She's been with Despair since she was born, and trusts Despair with her life. At the same time though, she has to acknowledge that Despair itself is something that will, if given an opportunity, eat her alive. It's not even like it wants to, it's just what it does. It doesn't even have much more intelligence than an animal, so you can't tell it "don't eat me", it won't understand. It's like you've had a pet your entire life! Only that pet's capable of biting your head off, and probably will if you're not careful.
At the same time though, Helion feels everything Despair does. And I do mean everything. From Helion's perspective, Despair's emotions are far more real than her own, and Despair has always been there for Helion to count on, no matter what else was going on.
From the Facility:

Maka Albarn:
***********
Maka is an Etranger from another world (oh wait, they're called Meisters in Maka's world, aren't they?). From Helion's perspective, that pretty much puts Maka as the one person who's closest to being like her. Comrades in arms, united by fate!
Well, not exactly, but nonetheless, if there's someone Helion thinks she can depend on, it's Maka. It probably helps that Maka's also a girl, which, having lost most of her other feminine influences, means that a lot of the stuff she learns about acting like a girl? Is probably going to come from Maka. For the time being though, it's all about having someone else who uses a Sword, even if they don't call it a Sword.

Soul Eater Evans
******
Soul is Maka's Sword, except he's not called a Sword in Maka's world. It's weird like that. The two are suitemates, but first properly met when Rapture was flooding, and Soul needed help getting Maka somewhere safe. She later found out that he's Maka's sword, thanks to conversation with Maka.
This actually makes Helion's opinion of Soul kind of complicated. It seems like in Maka's world, Swords aren't as dangerous, which is nice... but they can also transform? Interesting. Helion's trying to decide whether or not to experiment with seeing if Despair can transform too.
No wait, we're getting off topic. Anyways, Helion looks at Soul with a mixture of respect and... we'll say maternal instincts for the time being. She sees Soul as someone whose first priority is protecting his friends, which is something that always needs to be respected. Except... Soul's always in trouble, so he needs somebody to look after him. Probably the most frustrating thing about it all is that whenever Soul's in trouble, it's almost always in a situation where Helion can't do anything to help, either due to prior responsibilities or simply not having the right skills. At least Soul never has a shortage of friends to help.
